Changed theme and now cannot access WordPress site or wp-admin

If your theme has an issue and WordPress only shows a blank (white) page and you need to change the theme but cannot access the WP-admin dashboard, you can manually edit the following database tables using phpMyAdmin:

WP_Options --> Template
WP_Options --> Stylesheet

Change the theme name to another theme for each of those values, such as: twentysixteen
